Abstraction is where the archive lets pressure, memory, and symbolic force appear without needing a stable body first.

Meaning

Abstraction in this archive is rarely decorative. It usually appears when the image is working before it has settled into a face, object, or scene.

The abstract works often behave like weather systems: fire, pressure, color density, negative space, and impact become the subject. The body may be missing, broken apart, or implied by traces.

Some of the clearest emotional information is carried by fields, collisions, holes, and unfinished surfaces.
